Jean Romig

Jean Romig has served as the Director of Music at Trinity since 1994 and directs the Senior Choir, New Life Ringers Handbell Choir, and Voices of  Praise Children’s  Choir.  For the Celebrative Praise contemporary service, she coordinates the music with our talented organists/keyboardists Marsha Denney and Gina Garner.  It is an added privilege to serve both at Trinity and in the extended community. The Senior Choir has been blessed to host an annual choral festival for the community directed by Dr. John Leavitt and to travel to New York to Carnegie Hall and Washington D.C. to the Kennedy Center to sing in festival choruses.

Jean has been singing in choirs almost all her life beginning in a children’s choir in Chicago.  Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Music degree from Kansas State University, graduate work in music history and choral performance at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat in Munich, Germany, and certification in music education K-12 from MidAmerica Nazarene University.  Outside of music, she enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, and gardening.

The music ministry of Trinity is an incredible group of people of all backgrounds and experience using the musical talents given by God to serve the people of Trinity and beyond. Come join us! You’ll find a warm welcome and good friends as we serve together.  To God be the glory!
